About
The classic martini. I had no idea what a real martini was until I really “got into cocktails.” Pretty sure I thought it was just anything that was served in a triangular martini glass. The classic martini is the Old Fashioned of the gin world. With very simple ingredients and a strong base spirit, the martini fully showcases the gin.
Due to the popular image of a martini with olives, I’d always make it with an olive garnish. When I discovered the world of martinis with lemon twists, well, life = changed.
