About
Wow, what a combo. It’s been a while since I last talked about this freakin INCREDIBLE bitter grapefruit liqueur from CH Distillery, but man, what a beast. Click here to read all about my rave, but this is the grapefruit and bitter lover’s dream. It remarkably captures the essence of an ENTIRE fresh grapefruit in a bottle – with the richness of the peel oils as well as the intense bitterness of that white pith. The finish on this is as loooooong as it gets, no exaggeration.
The drink is basically a Negroni, with a split base between gin and pisco. Pisco is an unaged grape-based spirit that I feel is an underrated and often overlooked cocktail ingredient. It has such a beautiful floral aroma that is a perfect addition to balance out the bitterness in this drink.
