Copper & Kings American Brandy. I’ve previously talked about all sorts of different brandies, from dry fruit brandies like Barack Pálinka to brandy liqueurs like Apricot liqueur to American applejack to European region-of-origin controlled Calvados and Cognac. But how about some good ole general “American brandy”?

In this whole cocktail/craft beer&spirits resurgence where whiskey has become king of the land, there’s been growing renewed interest in brandy as people are looking to branch out (especially with the dwindling supplies and price hikes). Traditional European brandies like cognac/armagnac/calvados are subject to many regulations for methods and geographies of production and can also be extremely pricy.

The mass-market American brandies like Korbel, E&J, and Christian Brothers tend to be overly sweet and not as refined as their sophisticated French counterparts. Enter the new wave of American craft brandies – focused on creating a superior unique product without all the regulations to limit creativity AND can absolutely rival their European kin.

Distilled right in the heart of Bourbon County, the Copper and Kings American brandy is a a brandy for the bourbon drinker who’s looking for something fresh and new. It’s aged in Kentucky bourbon and American white oak barrels and is a fantastic expression of fruit flavors that’s still nice and dry and an absolutely delicious alternative for anywhere you’d use whiskey.
