Recipe
- 1.5oz white agricole rhum (Neisson Blanc)
- .75oz fresh lime juice
- .5oz passionfruit liqueur (Giffard)
- .25oz banana liqueur (Giffard)
- .25oz simple syrup, adjust to taste (or a fun rock candy on a stick!)
Shake all ingredients with crushed ice. Optionally, rim your glass with a fun salt mixture (I combined with Li Hing Mui, a Hawaiian salted dried plum powder). Dump mixed cocktail into the rocks glass, and fill with more crushed ice. Add the used lime half into the drink to let the peel oils continue to infuse into the drink.
About
Now, time to relax with a refreshing rhum punch. While molasses-based rum punches often lean on the spiced end of the spectrum (nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, clove, Angostura, etc) and can be a bit heavier in flavor, using a grassy agricole rhum brings unrivaled brightness and vegetal-freshness to the forefront!
