Recipe
- 1.5oz Rum Fire
- 1oz fresh lime juice
- 1oz orgeat (I used my homemade one, though I’d also recommend the Small Hand Foods version)
- Pinch of salt
Shake with ice and strain over fresh ice. Sip and be amazed.

I honestly think this is one of the best cocktails I’ve EVER had in my life (recipe courtesy of @nicholasferis). Seriously this is amazing stuff and just further reaffirms my obsession with the extremelyyyy funky Jamaican Rum Fire.
The inclusion of salt in the mix just really turns up the intensity even more and is brilliant – reminds me of how much I love the salt rim on margaritas, and how I love salt on basically anything sweet (yogurt, chocolate, acai bowls, sweet breads…basically I’m sort of a salt fiend). Not sure why I never thought about using it in cocktails, but now I need to play around with it more! And encourage you to do so too!
