  • 1.5oz London dry gin
  • 1oz Campari
  • 1oz sloe gin (I used Spirit Works though the book suggests Plymouth)
  • 3 raspberries

Gently muddle the raspberries. Add the other ingredients and stir with ice. Double strain over fresh ice cubes. I added an extra twist of grapefruit peel.

Who doesn’t love raspberries? Next time you have some fresh ones around, ya gotta give this a go! This is a Negroni variant by Phil Ward from the Death and Company book. It’s fruity with the raspberries, yet still very deeply bitter and satisfying. Use a quality sloe gin (the price is one way to judge, see this post for more tips).
