About
Bénédictine is an herbal French liqueur, much like the popular Chartreuse, but is quite underrated in modern cocktail culture. Why? If you’re looking for a way to use your bottle, here’s a delicious recipe to try – originally published in Esquire magazine in 1937!
This is a solid simple drink, hovering in the whiskey sour realm with an extra boost of botanical richness. More spirit-forward than sweet, and a beautiful golden pink color to boost. Sigh, I love historical recipes. (ps, you can find a few more ideas for Bénédictine here)
