About
Ah, tiki drinks and their amazing names… This is the Merciless Virgin: it’s got the perfect typical tiki flavor profile, but the Cherry Heering definitely stands out in a delicious way! Cherry Heering is a Danish cherry liqueur that actually tastes like (non-artificial) sweet black cherries! It differs COMPLETELY from Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, which is also made from cherries but takes on a bitter nutty taste due to the usage of the cherry pits in production.
A tip on buying and trying new alcohol: you can often find mini bottles (which I recently learned are called “nips”) of spirits and liqueurs – like my bottle of the Cherry Heering (minis are soooo cute). While these are awesome when traveling or on the go, they’re also a superb way to try out something before committing to a full bottle! One day I will have a full mini bottles collection….
