About
One of my favorite Instagram accounts is @cocktail_adventuring. Brian seriously never fails me with his incredible recipes and recommendations (particularly around rum) and this recipe is no exception.
This is an absolutely heavenly riff off the Last Word cocktail, a classic traditionally made with equal parts of gin, lime, maraschino liqueur, and green Chartreuse. In this variation, the incredible Rum Fire overproof Jamaican white rum is subbed in for gin while the bitter Suze gentian liqueur is subbed for Green Chartreuse. I seriously can’t get enough – this is dangerous stuff.
Rum Fire is seriously one of the most unique rum on the market that is chock full of deliciously funky flavors of fruit and Jamaican craziness. For anyone who’s seriously looking to dive into the world of rums or just a major cocktail enthusiast, you will not go wrong seeking this one out. This is definitely in my stranded-on-desert-island kit.
