About

Summer means outdoor picnics and BBQs, frequent gatherings with friends, and plenty of day drinking (ok, maybe that’s not limited to summer…) Here’s a tasty-and-not-too-sweet summer wine spritzer that’s super easy to batch for a crowd and not overly boozy you’re done by 2pm. Rosewater and rosé because hello summer and some fresh citrus-y spritz syrup (with a hint of dry bitterness from gentian) to add some zing without cloying sweetness.

I’m diggin’ these new products I received from W&P Design. I really love their stuff, which seriously exemplify the beauty of modern minimalist design, and most importantly are ultra functional.

The Porter cup is essentially a stemless wine glass with a built-in silicone sleeve and a nice sipping lid for extra security on the go. Meant to replace wasteful disposables, it’s super sturdy, beautifully well-made, and perfect for outdoor drinking! (anyone else like me and always carry legitimate glassware while traveling?)

The Peak silicone ice tray is WHITE MARBLE print. OK ENOUGH. I admit I’m super basic and my laptop cover is white marble, my phone background is white marble, my computer lockscreen is white marble. And now, well, my ice cube tray is white marble. BUT, this is an impressively well thought out tray! The edges have steel reinforcement so that it doesn’t flop around when transporting to the freezer, and it’s also awesome that every single ice cube is in its own compartment, making it really fun and satisfying to remove (this is usually the annoying part of silicone trays for me). Plus it comes with a loose lid to shield it from picking up weird freezer flavors.
