Recipe
- 2oz aged agricole rhum (I used Clément 6yr)
- 1 barspoon falernum (John D. Taylor Velvet Falernum)
- 1 barspoon banana liqueur (Giffard Banane du Bresil)
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 dash Bittercube blackstrap bitters
Add all ingredients in a rocks glass and stir to combine. Add a large ice cube and stir a few times to dilute. Finish with a lime twist.
About
This is inspired by a recipe from one of my faaavv bars ever – Rumba in Seattle! I started snapping photos of interesting bar menus over the past couple years to use as inspiration (find them all here), and this definitely came in clutch!
The House Rum Old Fashioned at Rumba incorporates their “blend of favorite rums” with falernum and banana liqueur. Followed suit, did not disappoint.
