About
Have you ever wanted literal fresh sea water as a cocktail? No, not like the gulp of water you swallowed while swimming in the ocean, and definitely without any weird ‘fishy’ or pollution smells, but more like something that evokes similar sentiments as those “ocean breeze” or “sea spray” perfumes and candle scents.
If so, then this cocktail absolutely NAILS it and is insanely delicious. I met up with Mike from Oakland Spirits Co. recently, who suggested this combo using their freakin’ incredible Automatic Sea Gin, and oh. my. goodness. In heaven.
This is the driest of drinks. It tastes like the ocean. I adore this so much.
This gin literally tastes like fresh seaweed. If that sounds unappealing to you, then maybe this is not for you. But if you’re like me and that sounds incredibly intriguing, oh boy you are in for a treat. The seaweed is foraged from the coasts of Northern California, and along with coastal bay and sage, make this gin one heck of a savory delight.
Though this was generously gifted as a sample, I 110% recommend this gin if you dig the savory, it’s incredible!!
