About
Tis the season for friends and holiday cheer, right? My friend Matthias from Served by Soberon has organized a fun little #SecretSanté event to create a cocktail in honor of another person in the Drinkstagram community. Here is my gift for…..the beautiful Lisa @cocktail_maven!
Lisa is a truly a maven with her beautifully crafted cocktails, vast spirit knowledge, and what more, she does it all in style with signature red lips and killer shoes (have you seen her stories?). She’s all about that elegant simplicity that is also totally badass and makes you want to be her friend. You can usually find her sippin some whisk(e)y or an Old Fashioned-style cocktail paired with a cigar, so I instantly knew I had to incorporate some smoke into her cocktail.
I really wanted to introduce her (and you guys!) to a newly discovered amazing syrup. The Tippleman’s Barrel Smoked Maple Syrup is amaaaaazzzzing. You thought barrel-aged maple syrup was great? This is next level stuff. It is every bit as amazing as the description sounds!
